I see from an earlier post your having a pull on Labor Day Weekend. Could you post the classes that are pulling and some of the general rules having to do with the hitch, tires and year of tractors allowed.

Any chance in the near future you'll allow the newer farm tractors to pull with you guys like the 4010, 4020 John Deere's or 806, 826, 856 Farmall's just to name a few. I have pulled at your location last year, very good track, its just I don't have anything to pull there with anymore except a 4010 John Deere which doesn't make as much power as most of the hopped up antiques. I would like to mix it up with them if you would allow it, but not worth it for exibition with the price of gas. Just something I hope you guys will consider during this winter.

The year revision is a very touchy subject not only at Remus but even on this forum. That is something that will have to be discussed. Maybe letting newer tractors in the 5 mph class.

The problem we are having at Remus is so many modified tractors are showing up and pulling in the 3 mph class that is intended for stock antiques. We have lost alot of the pullers that were with us from the beginning because it is a horsepower and money thing now. I can't see the tire size changing in the 3 mph class. The 5 mph class is intended for strokers and modified from stock tractors.

Remus puts on a pull to have fun and make a good place for people to come pull and not feel cheated one bit. The pull is for the pullers and if you guys would like to see some changes or have ideas keep voicing your opinions and we may be able to accomidate.

This weekend should be a good money pull. Come on out and have some fun. Friday night will be a very good truck pull. Good showing last time. Lots of diesels better show up with at least 400 ponies. Saturday pulling tractors all day.

I wish you guys would consider the newer tractors such as the 4010, 4020, 806, 856 and such, even if you create a class for them say starting out at 7000#, 8000#, and 9000# classes. There are many pullers like myself who don't have the money to spend on the antique's to keep pace with the high dollar tractors there are today, that decide it was more worth while to go to the heavier classes and a later model tractor such as listed above. This is where many of the pullers have gone that you have been losing in the antique classes. Just a thought I hope your club will think about during the cold weather months. If you have room/time for the pickup classes, couldn't you make a class or two for the newer tractors. Thanks for your consideration.

if you changed the rules to like a 1972 and older, you would have 20 series tractors for JD as a cut off cause the 30 series didn't start till late 72, 73. i would like to see at least a 16.9 tire size limit for the 3mph, because that is all we have.....and our tractors are 45hp.....we always run them....i guess you can't please everyone....i just know its close enough to me that i would come if they let in 16.9 tires

I am from Rosebush, MI, There are several other people from the Mt.Pleasant area that would probably be interested in pulling there newer model tractors if a class were created for them. Maybe even an open class like they have up to Hawkin's where the antique's could compete against the newer tractors. Just idle thoughts that might bring in a few pullers who might not otherwise attend.
