I have been thinking about going to a South Jersey pull for the last year, but I have a few concerns. I know that the Jersey DOT can be tough. Is there any concern for the DOT on the route to this pull. My main concern is my truck smokes pretty bad and I know New Jersey is tough on that. It's not worth going to pull if you end up paying a hefty fine.

My second concern is will it be worth traveling 2 hours to pull there. I have heard good things about the pull.

You won"t be in Jersey long enough to worry about it. Coming from Md. you only go one mile on 295 then maybe five or six on rt.40. So there is a good chance in the ten minutes your driving you won"t get caught. I"ve been pulling their for eight years and I haven"t been pulled over yet. The worst thing isn"t the time. The drive is worth it. The worst thing is tolls.

10-4 on the tolls! It looks like between MD, DE & NJ tolls would add up to around $35 for the round trip. Add about $80 worth of fuel onto that and it's an expensive night. I may just ride over in the car to see what it's about this time. By the time I bought fuel and paid tolls I doubt there would be anything left for hook fees! Maybe next year I'll have more budget and the fuel will cost less.

Thanks for the response. Where exactly is the pull located? Is it right off of 40? We don't have any pulls in MD that weekend so we are seriously thinking about it. I guess I could always call the number that is on their non-functioning website and get the rules and directions. Thanks again!

Sorry forgot about the rules. 20" in height on the draw bar. 18" long. Thats all they follow. No weight allowance. So 9500 means 9500. Suitcase weights are allowed.

The pull is right off of rt.40 on left side . Can't miss it, it's at the salem county fair grounds. If you see cowtown rodeo you went to far. Directions: 95 North to 295 North to rt.40 east. Easy to find. Next pull: Friday Sep. 9 Pull starts at 7 registration starts at 5.

Dont go more than 1 mile on 295 or you will be at the northbound scales. If you see the rest area you went too far.

BAD ATTITUDE, are they still pulling at Cowtown?? I thought they gave up years ago.I used to pull a Mini-mod down there. Always thought they put on a great show-except driving down there on "beat the heat" Friday nights.
