I am looking for the cover that replaces the mechanical lift unit on a Oliver 77 RC. Trying to get down in a lower wieght class. Currently I pull 4000,4500, and 5000. The 5000 lbs class is just a little too much for the ole ollie. Did pretty good in Gordon, Tx yesterday and will be on the road to Hamilton next weekend.

Gary Henderson will have his sled there. Hamilton newspaper says registration will begin at 8 am and non-weighted tractors will begin pulling at 9:30 with weighted tractors thereafter. It is 12:04 am Friday now and the weather here in Dublin looks like it is about to rain so I don't know how things will go. Hopefully I will see everybody there.

I correct myself on who was putting the pull on. It was not Gary's sled. It was the club's I guess. This pull was definitely different than any I have attended. Will be glad to get back to the normal style of pull next weekend in Winters

Is it one of those rediculous horsepower/ nebraska test book pull classed pulls?

I don't know what they call it but from what I have been told it isn't the best pull to attend. This is my first year in this kind of stuff so I am not the most knowledgable on the subject. I do know however, that me and my old Oliver will bet there for the fun of it.

take it off, copy it to a piece of plate, and make your own, its not that hard.

With this solution, how do you plan to mount the gear shift lever?

I took a piece of steel plate measured the thickness of what I needed, and made it fit right up the the shifter...takes alittle bit of work, but I couldn't find a plate either...
