I know that there are a lot of people who view the postings but do not reply (this is fine). I was wondering if people would reply with the make and model tractor that they pull. If you add your general location, that would be great.

Just being curious

Our Farm pulls in Antique Classes (before 1960)
at local fairs in Ontario Canada. All the
tractors are considered stock (what ever stock is)
and most pull on a long chain.
MM RT 1943 3500lbs
MM Z 1952? 4500lbs
MM U Early 40s 5500lbs
MM U 1947? 6500lbs
MM GTB 1952 6500lbs - just purchasing
MM G 1950 7600lbs
MM GVI 1959 9000lbs and above

We have pulled with our show 1940 MM G, 1952 MM R,
and MM 335. We may do a show pull this year with our Twin City KTA.

I have not started pulling yet but plan to in the future. I plan on pulling two Farmall Super C's in just a regular farm class, not all that modified class. I may try to pull a Farmall 350 as well in the modified if they have it for that size tractor. The area is in Southern Maryland.

No im sorry but you guy are all wrong, you gotta add a little Bud Lite, about a can to 5 gallon of gas, but for those really big motors, put in a can drink a case then take a leak in it, man she makes my MM R with that 800 just fly, i have to pull to sleds at once so they can at least slow me down some before i run over the cheerleaders.

If you mean the Dairyland Antique pulling club, your right.I use to be a member of the club fifteen years ago,but quit pulling when everyone else went nuts with all the modifacations to their tractors. Now they offer a farm stock antique class,so I'm thinking about getting back into pulling again. The picture was taken at the Dairy Days pull,in Platteville WI,last summer.

I been running a JD 60, with a custom counter balanced crank that I built so I can run just one cylinder. Its got triple turbos pulling the mix through 2 8/71 blowers. Just the other day I finally got my 3 850 double pumpers synchronized. They sit atop a custom kevlar 38" tunnel ram. I've blown out my boost gauge, but the guys at the feed store figure I'm running about 90psi boost. I found I've gained about 3/4 hp since I changed to a Briggs and Stratton foam type air cleaner, non oiled. Did a custom 4 way valve job with a Swiss Army Knife.
Below the induction tract, I couldn't get the stock head to hold, so I cast one out of Alumunobtainableorite, now she holds up to 99 to 1 compression. Stock piston, modified to accept 1 3/4" wide steam locomotive rings.
Built the ignition system out of a surplus supermarket bar code scanner and tv flyback transformer. Those guys at Radio Shack love me.
By the way, I've found if you add 1 teaspoon cheez whiz to 5 gallons pump gas, it raises the octane 1000 points. Thats how I can run so much compression. Its kinda hard to hand start though. Must go now, they say its time for my medication.

Dear Mr. "ImNuts":
I'll bet my last buck that your present
mechanical advisor and part-time physician

doesn't really have a license to practice medicine
or advise you on things related to pulling.
I suggest you find another doctor -
maybe he'll change your medication
(and make him show you his license, while you're atit).

If all else fails, you may want to contact
the preferred "Dr. of Last Resorts"

I think they let him out of the "pokey"
under dire circumstances, such as yours. (THIS POST NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!)

Forget the cheese whiz because it can go bad. Add 1 quart of horn fluid for it will raise your octane rating to 1.23 EE 3 power. Are you going to share that medication?
