Recently started antique tractor pulling and I have encountered problems with my SM pulling to the right near the end of the pulls. I use a combination of both hanging weights and the traditional 145 pd plates. I run the same air pressure in both tires and have begun hanging more weight one side of the tractor just to see if there is a difference. Some tracts I have no problem...Could it be wheel width? I run 14.9 x 38 firestone field and roads..which are about 90%. Yesterday I was on a hard tract and all three classes 6,7 and 8000 she went right..any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Something else to check, if everything is centered, your tire pressure is even, and your brake isn't hanging up. Might have a bad bearing in the rear end on the right side.

Had a bad pull to the right problem with my U a couple years ago when it would get under a load at the end of the track. Turned out to be a bearing in the rear end.

Make sure that your left tire is not farther from the center of the tractor than the right one. This goes right along with the drawbar being centered between the tires mentioned by jd b puller. Also, if you can slide the tires and wheels in as narrow as possible, this will help. Being centered with everything is what I would work on first though.

Is the drawbar centered between the tires?

You seem to have tried all the things that needed to be tried. By chance is your right brake hanging up?
