Want to push more fuel in my 4010, which kind and size injectors should I use? I have the cast iron stock ones in it right now. Have aready had the pump spruced up. Plan to put a turbo on also. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by "sprucing up" the pump? The pump controls how much fuel is injected, the nozzles control how much pressure is created during the injection. The pump and nozzles are matched in size to provide the correct opening pressure and fuel volume. If you put oversize nozzles ahead of the pump, you can end up with improper atomization and less power.

By spruced up I mean it was sent to a injection service shop and had a bigger size head and rotor setup put on the pump and different plunger also, and fuel adjustment screw. I believe they said the head is a 370 or 380. Would like to know which injectors and lines I need to go with this setup. Tractor is a 4010 with 4020 kit.

One thing I do know is that you need to be careful jamming to much air and fuel in a 4010/4020. They don't have any piston cooling jets in the block to spraying cooling oil on the bottom of the slugs, and if you get carried away with the fuel screw and boost, it doesn't take much to score a piston and liner. There's a reason Deere made changes to their "Turbo-Built" engines used in the 4320, etc.

Thanks for the reply! I don't want to go hog wild, but would like to get the right injectors to feed the fuel I need to make some extra horsepower with the pump work done and a turbo addition. What kind of manifold will fit, and would you recommend?

If you want pieces that will fit under the stock hood, you're probably limited to finding an M&W kit. They're more or less a bolt-on deal, are engineered for the tractor, and are probably your best bet if you don't want to go nuts. 466 manifolds and so forth will bolt to the head, but you'll run into hood clearance issues and the like.

I'm not an expert on those sorts of upgrades, I was just curious what had been done to the pump. I think I would be talking to the shop that did the pump to recommend what they recommend. They're the ones that already have all the info on the pump.
