I doubt that the 1206 had water injection.I pulled a 856 IH 12,000 SS tractor at the same time with similar horsepower and we didnt run any water.

This 1206 wheatland puller was out of western Nebraska in the mid 70's and I'm sure it only pulled in that area of the country.Back then you didnt have to go very far from home to hit alot of pulls.

RedFred,Greg said the 1206 wheatland pulled the 15,000 lb class in high 1st and the 12,000 class in high 2nd.That takes at least 450-500 horses to do.I used to pull a 400 horse 856 IH.

I farm with two 1206's that are around 140-150 horses each. They will each pull a 21 ft Krause disk,24 ft IH field cultivator, and a 14 ft IH chisel in high 1st with the TA forward.

I grew up in western Neb. in the 70's and didn't see that 1206 pull, too bad. On the other hand Greg's Dad, Pete had a hot IH M superstock running in th late 70's maybe we could get some pictures of it pulling posted.

Steve,Greg is trying to dig out some pictures of his Dad's old M Farmall SS tractor.By the way the owner of the 1206 was Joe Newkirk of Reddington,NE which was SW Of Bridgeport. The pictures were taken in July 1975 at Alliance,NE.
