The bad part of pulling a 460 is after awhile nobody likes to see you show up at a pull. Don't be upset when nobody talks to you just because you whipped everybody there and whipped them bad too.So just have fun and don't worry about what they say.

I pull a 460 diesel with 282 cu in bored 560 motor with 560 crank, roosa master pump off 756 opened up and ground out the stops , balanced and running 3200 RPMs with 16.9 38 tires (for next season) in third direct should run at about 10 mph. Parts are very available and I woould recommend a heavy duty TA and Heavy purple spring clutch and go have some fun. Yes I have had it apart a few times mostly head gasket but went to Victor gasket and shes been steady for a long time now. I also pull a 560 diesel in stock class and it does ok but both are hard starting suckers. Migraine
