I'd highly recommend the Heartland Pullers 4020 AL mentioned. I'm not yet a member, but have been going to their pulls for several years now, and try to go to more each summer. Last summer I went to Summerfield, Beattie, Axtell and Okeeto. The pulls aren't huge, but they are well-run, the equipment stays together and you can't beat the people involved for helping each other out and avoiding a lot of the b.s. you read about on here that happens at other places. Most of the guys are pretty well color-blind when they're not on the track, as a matter of fact, and I'm yet to see any sort of real disagreement or problem at a Heartland pull.

Send me your address and I can send you a schedule of South Central KS pulls and the KS State Fair Antique Tractor Pull. Goessel and Hutchinson pulls would be the closest to Abilene.

The Heartland Antique Tractor Pullers club will have thier annual meeting at Axtell, Ks. on the 22nd of Jan. You are invited to attend and become a member of the club. This is the club that sponsered the pull at Beattie last year. sarg, could you send me one of those schedules? Also, a grop of us bought the ol' sled in Columbus, KS. We're totally redesigning/refurbishing it and we'll hopefully be able to hold a few pulls here in SE Kansas this summer.

If you don't mind traveling a distance, we are having 13 tractor pulls this coming season in Southwest Missouri. We run Div II, II, and IV, NATPA rules. Our season is starting in April. We'd be glad to have you join us.
