Hey fellas, want your opinions on this question. How do you think an all classic and antique pull would go over. Just one, not an association, maybe early in the year, before season gets really going up here? Do you think it would encourage a few guys to bring the old girl out of the shed? There are getting to be fewer and fewer antique classes around, but I'm sure theres still guys that would come if there was a place to do it. Maybe have antiques, classics, like 60 and older, and a couple open classes, 60 and older? If you're interested, please throw some ideas on here, and please, no BS, No Indianhead this or that, just ideas, thanks!!

A group in Eastern MN runs a pull early in August. On Friday, they run Open RPM Classics. On Saturday, they run Antiques @ 10 0/0 over. Then on Sunday, they run Farm Stock tractors to 1965, I believe. If you pulled Friday or Saturday, you can't pull Sunday. This allows all groups to have a chance to pull in their respective classes. Always, a great turnout.

Yup, the Almelund threshing club pull, we attend it every year, have a heck of a good time! I ended up being tech guy on the sunday stock pull last summer. That is along the line of what we want to do, give the classic and antique guys another hook for the year.

You folks have a GREAT thing going. How about Cut Tires for Friday night and another pull weekend earlier in the year. Just suggestions. Would like to see Rod have some competition instead of just exhibition. My wife won the 4000# class on Sunday.

Would go over good. I like the only farm rule.
Where are you located in NW Wisconsin? We have one in NW Wisconsin. Started with a pace tractor at 3mph in 3500-6500lbs class and pace tractor pulls a jug. Have to keep it between the pace and jug.

Well they just started a pull around my area that is only "farm" tractors.. And farm is farm. Judges make decisions on what is stock or not. They do a great job at it too. None of the built tractors make it in. It also is antique/classic. 1969 for classic, 1938 for antique- i am pretty sure on the years. Keeps the M's and H's out of the antique class. Went over great around here. Many people come you never see at the other pulls. I really enjoy it.

I would say you would have quite the turn out. They run over a 130 hooks a pull and only go to 6500 pound class.

Goodluck
