Any recommendations on a good place to send my stock JD G cam to get a good competition performance grind? I have a 1948 JD G that I use exclusively for tractor pulling. The tractor is currently bored .125 over and fitted with High Compression Aluminum Pistons from Hinrichs Repair. The head (Cyclone) has been completely rebuilt with stock size valves and it has been shaved .050. I have a Jerry's Pulling Manifold and a Hot Mag. I also run the "Super 51 Pulling" carburetor from Robert’s Carb Repair. The governor has been completely rebuilt and I'm running the stock rods and crank with stock stroke. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I need to decide if I should keep going bigger or sell before I’m completely broke.

Your set up sounds like mine. I have a cam from Robert"s in my 49" G. I"m still getting it together I hope it will run in the next few months.
