Last 'TOY', was a 5020 jd with a 619 I pulled two years ago, WAY too heavy (11700 bare) with weld on hubs and steel pressed wheels to haul around!! I've pulled MF's and Deutz in farm stocks, as well as the JD. Followed the NTPA as a fan in the early 80's, a mixed smoker/turbine fan. Was with Art Arfons at his last hook in Canada, flunklyed for Don Deane when he rebuilt his first t-64, LOVE the internal semetry of the turbines! Was at the last hook (at the Buck Pull, Buck,PA) of Amos Stauffer's (of the Lancaster, PA bunch, Sneekipeete, Underdog and Fido diesel superstockers) in the late 70's. Met some great people, and had some great times. Most pullers are social, and especially supportive of their own. Hope you enjoy the show!! Friday's 1st pull is at 11AM!!! --- long day of pulling!!

The DuQuoin pull is next Thursday thru Saturday. Its a non-antique pull, but it is unique in that it pulls several non NTPA type classes, like single charger A-pump, single charger p-pump limited classes, limited light wt super class, plus super pro stock, diesel, alcohol and a mod class. On pulloff.com, go to events, and go to Midwinter Nationals, and they list the event on their memu. They were at Gordyville in January, and had a great pull there. They have two sidebyside tracks, two smoke machines in a small seating venue. ALL seats are close to the action and all brands represented. Minn Red runs a strong 1066, big air, big rpms, that's why I posted for him. Do you come over to Princeton,IN to pull at their winter pulls?

Princeton, Indiana is, I believe, like once a month, in the fall and winter months, inside an open horse barn, but has a huge following. The hook magazine/website(?) may have additional info. Good to hear another big styled deere in on the antique scene.
