Just curious about what anybody has done/seen on a ZA for pulling, more than just restoring and tweaking, have my fathers original and have not seen ZA's " gone wild " if you will. Thanks

I have been beat by a few stock za in 4700 lbs class and I have usually finished 3-4 (on average) on a za diesel.

A ZA can do ok in speed limit classes if balanced right. We have a fella in our club with one. Without stroking, you can get about 60 horses. The Moline U"s balance better than their little brother. An Jet Star engine will bolt in too, but that is a little questionable in some clubs. My R has a ZA engine. There are a few tricks to those side valve engines to get them to breathe a little.
