Is anybody going to Iowa this weekend or is this just a Div. 2 discussion board?

Andrew & I will be there, but not the tractor, but with the big truck instead. Leaving for KY about 7 tonight with a haz. load, and a load of freight is waiting in Louisville for Des Moines for pickup tomorrow morning and that'll deliver Monday morning.

Will be the maiden voyage for my new camera though.

Wonder if Andrew is still gonna pull that Iowa Deere out there...

I thought I was last minute, but after reading these posts, I guess getting the head back on Sunday, I am way ahead of schedule. Anyone have a tow strap? Its been starting hard.

I am planning on being there on Saturday. I am working on a fresh set of tires for my tractor right now. I sure hope to have them done and mounted by Saturday. Does anyone know what time the 5500# class will start pulling on Saturday? Mike

Hey Animal, You know I am from Iowa but we plan on being there. It would be good to see you there! There is allot of stuff there to watch and have fun with no NATPA politics. Are you coming and bringing the F-20 and Miss B-Haven? Be sure to bend my ear if you are there. Hope to see ya, DW

We are leaving Fri. around noon to get there Fri. night, about 420 miles. The guy going with me is putting his A together today and if it isn't done we will finish it in Sigourney!! That always is a fun pull even though I haven't been there for a few years. Usually a lot of neat tractors there. We're running the antique and maybe classic.

Im planning on being there....the tractor has to run first. That means a lot of work to be done as the connecting rods left the machine shop 3 hours ago.

You bet me and the f-20 will be there! Miss b havin has to work, but I am bringing the old ladies check book and I plan on pulling until her mony runs out. Dave it will be great to shoot the bull with you again, I was just thinking it has been quite a while. The 5500 classic is advertised in the hook as starting at 6 p.m. and the pull is supposed to start at 9 a.m. I wonder if its too late to find out what I have to do to get a little more power out of an old wore out stock f-20? see you all there drive safe....
