What classes are you running, what times are the weigh-in and pull. I have an JD-G with 16.9 x 38's, and a 4010 with 20.8 x 38's, both with cut tires. JD-G can get as light as 5500#, and 4010 can get as light as 6500#. What classes will these tractor be allowed to pull in? What are the hitch dimensions allowed. Any info. or contacts would be appreciated.

Your "G" can start in the 5500 open, no speed limit. We then have a 6000 5mph, 6500 open, 7000 and 8000 5 mph class for it. The 16.9 keep you out of the stock class. Fenders wheelie bars and kill switch are manditory for all classes over 3 mph.

The 4010 can pull in the 8000 and 9000 5mph classes that we started to allow the newer tractors. 20.8's are allowed in these 2 classes. If it really is that light we can meet with the guys pulling in the other classes you can get into and see if they will let you in. I don't think anyone will be real scared to. You still need a kill switch and wheelie bars.

Anything I left out email me at superih@hotmail.com or 616-886-0457

Weight in 9-11 pull starts after 11:00am

Were they using kill switches for the 5 mph and open classes when they pulled up to Blanchard? I do have wheelie bars for both tractors, but may be a chore to come up with a kill switch for them though. I would hope guys would not be afraid to pull against my 4010 in the lighter classes, from what I saw at Blanchard I don't believe I have anything on them in the horsepower department. I know I don't have the horsepower with the JD-G they have in the 5 mph classes.

They were supposed to be using kill switches. The guy hooking may have missed some. On a diesel engine rig up a raincap over the air intake. Have a pin holding the cap open, then connect a cable to the pin as your kill switch.
