I am pullin a JD 60 in the 6500 7500 8500 classes and can't put the power to the ground. I am running 16.9R38 with a 1/2 tread. I get the front end up and when I get to about 3/4 track I spin out. I am running about 16 psi that is were I get the best results.

If your running 6 ply tires, I would get those tires down to 10 to 12 pounds, and get the front to just lightly touch the ground down the track. Experment a little with the pressure. Different tires require different pressures. I've got 18.4-38 8 plys on the ole G, and I've run them as low as 4 to 5 pounds. Not always in first place, but most of the time it was one of the top three.

With my JD 60 i pull in 6500-10500 with 18.4-38 on it. What i found happens is if my front is to heavy...nothing. If my front end is any higher than 4" then nothing. If i keep it lightly on the ground she hooks and keeps on going. I have 55hp spinning the big 18.4 if that helps you at all.

I was having the same problem with my JD G. After talking to a fellow JD puller I put more weight on the side that was spinning out and that solved the problem. JDs are heavier on one side than the other. You will have to play with the weights to get the best balance of weights. Also your front-end may be coming up too much.
Just my honest opinion.
