Tractor weighs 6780 lbs. with driver on. Would like to shed about 400-500 lbs. Rock Shaft has been removed, press steel wheels on back, narrow roll-o-matic on front. Any ideas on how to make tractor lighter would be appreciated. Anyone know where I could find a narrow front without the roll-o-matic?

Get rid of that heavy steering motor, and steering valve.. build a wide front.. and either manual steering it with a rack.. or Use hydrostic steering.. and steering cylinders... JDGnut

i'd say to take some of the little stuff off like aircleaner bowl, mabe take the fenders offput a smaller air cleaner on it and just eliminate the little stuff that you don't need.
