Is this tractor going to be any good for pulling? Should I look for more power from it? If so how do I go about doing this? Is the transmission up to the job?
Thanks for now.

farm stock or hot farm limited rpm, they are pretty good. 640 cubes helps, they aren't bad for pulling in the hotter classes but head design and configuration make it difficult to get big air flow numbers. There are a few in the pro stock and super stock with made heads that run really well.

if that is the 540 v-8 I have seen some run really good in the 1150/55 mf's. I like to see a good running massey to break up the green/red thing!
