Can you post a picture of how you "fixed" the pulley side of the tractor where it comes thru the crankcase? Thanks in advance

no pic's, but your basicly grinding through the case, the depth of the liner in the block, take your time .gind then fit and repeat tell the block clears. then after it fits fab a plate ( thin metal or card board ) that canbe rolled to mach the round sleave of the block . itstall this where you ground through the case and use a good e-poxy or j.b, weld over the plate. it works better if you can turn the case upword so the expoxy doesn't drip to the floor? or strip your case take it to jerry and for 400 dollars he will machine your case and patch it for you?
