Simple question guys....what is the bore of a H farmall after the sleeves have been pulled. Will that take something like a super H piston? Do NOT want to bore, just want to run larger piston without the sleeves. Thanks

Don't forget that you have to have some rings made to fill in the top grove where the sleeve sits. If you don't you will lower comprestion.

Can't remember what a H block is down to the thousand of inch but its real close to 3 9/16. Stock SH used 3 1/2 pistons original with thickwall sleeves. Thinwall sleeves and 3 9/16 pistons also sold for SH. The 300 C-169 engine used stock piston size 3 9/16 with thickwall sleeves. There was a serial # break on C 169 engine. Before break wrist pin size was same as your H. after break rods were changed to small wrist pin size. Also some of the fire crator and some other pistons had small wrist pin. Adapter bushings were sold for early rods to use small pin with those rods when using pistons with small pin. H,SH ,300 are all the same stroke.

Forgot to add, there is 3 5/8 pistons for 300 and 350 and were stock in 350. But you said you didn't want to bore.

An M has a bore of 3 7/8. The sleeves will not fit into an h block. 350 pistons should fit after some honing(3 5/8).

Without sleevs the bore of a H block is 3 9/16. That is the same as a 560 only the rod pin placement is not right.
