I have a 47 G and had to take the axles out of the tractor and had to heat the hubs for a half hour at least before trying to get them to move. Then apply alot of force to the axle with a BFG (also known as a big -ucking hammer). Stood axle verticle in a big pipe and hit down on end of axle. Six hours and alot of sweat later I was done. Oh and some help of my dad.

Repeated soaking, lots of heating &cooling cycles and lots of patients will usually win this battle, but you could take out the axles cast centers and all, and take them to a shop that has a BIG press and have the axles pressed out of the wheels. Stand back because something is going to give with a loud crack. These can be tough, but fluid corrosion can make them almost impossible. Make sure you have the outside of the axles shiny clean so when they do loosen initially, they will then come off the rest of the way reasonably easy. Good luck.
