What can you tell me about the C farmall? What do they weigh? How many HP? Sleeved or sleeveless? What is the biggest IH motor that shares the same bell housing pattern as the C? Thanks guys for your help.

I still run the 113ci engine and do pretty good with a slightly larger carb and govenor turned up alittle. It's not a second gear puller but the taller tires help it get down the track better. The C-153 engine would definitely help it.

The C-153 engine was designed for industrial purposes. I have seen them in power units and generators. I am not sure what other tractor applications there are.

A C-153 will fit with out any hassle but there are a few guys on here that have some pretty hot Super C"s that run the stock block.
I am hoping to give them a go at the Tallmadge pull with my Farmall B.

What all have you done to the B Shaggy? How do you get traction with those little tires?

The motor is just a Tisco overbore with a dome and a pretty good head. As far as traction goes I will be probably hurting in that department. But it just might help me since I only have 123 cid. Shaggy

Hey Shaggy, I pretty much have the same set up as you. I run 9.5 x 24 rears and need more tracton. I pull in the 2,600 lb. and 3,100 lb. class. I don"t motor out, I run out of tracton. I was thinking about going to the 11.2 tires but I need to stay under 3 mph or I would be pushed up to another div. I can"t see myself pulling this tractor in the 3,600 lb. class but time will tell. Good Luck with your B, I"m real happy with mine.
Charles

I have 11.2x24's on my B now and the few times I have pulled it it has done pretty good.
This past year I pulled at a show and it was a loose track and my buddy with a Demo C beat me by 3ft but he had a CHEATER wire on the gov and I was turning 1800 rpms. I'll get him this summer!!

My Poor B isn't much to look at but it runs pretty good or at least I think it does! All I need to do to it is get rid of the pto and hook up the kill switch and I am ready and maybe borrow some weights if I can 't come up with some here. I am going to try 3500 on Sunday! I'll see you guys there! Shaggy
