Gentlemen,

Trying to decide if it is worth it to foam the rear and trans on my M. How much weight will I save doing this? I can;t see pulling below 4750lb. (won't get there right now anyway). I also do not believe that with a Div. 3 speed limit, I can put the power I'll have to the ground anyway. Oil may prove cheaper than iron I'll have to mount up, anyway...

Also, while I have the cover off, any thoughts on aluminum covers? What are they going for these days? I believe Mr. Begeman makes a quality piece...

Lots of questions there, boys!

Thanks,

CPR

All You are going to gain is the weight of the oil that is displaced by the foam - the weight of the foam.At the most 2 gal 15 - 20 lbs tops. If you are right on the line it might be easer to push back from the table. I know that would help me Ken B

Hey Ken, I"ve seen CPR, and believe me, it wouldn"t be good for him to push back from the table. I"ve already had him in reserve in case I was to heavy at 200lbs. I"m scared he"d blow away.:)

Kinda what I figured. For 20lbs. it's not worth an all afternoon adventure. I already have plenty to do.
