Hello to all.
I am a member of two local pulling Club's here in Western NC. We are trying to get some Children involved, and I am seeking any information that someone may have about plans to build a small sled that can be used with the Kids on a pedal Tractor. Any, and all assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I do hope, and Pray, all you Tractor Pullers will have a SAFE, and winning year!
Thanks in advance for any & all help.
Richard Reed

Call 402 986-0817. Ask for Allen. He is a retired farmer that has been doing the local pedal pulls. When kids win at a local level they can quailify for state. Big thing around here. My kids went thur it twenty some years ago. Be careful tho, now we are superfarm pullin!

SOME THAT I HAVE SEEN ARE REALLY SIMPLE, THEY HAVE ONE AXLE, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AXLE IS A SPROCKET, IT HAS YOUR BASIC FRAME, RAILS THAT HOLD A WEIGHT BOX, USUALLT MADE OF WOOD TO HOLD BRICKS, EACH SIDE OF THE BOX IS CONNECTED TO A CHAIN, THAT FITS ON THE SPROCKET, AS THE CHILD TAKES OFF ON THE PEDAL TRACTOR THE AXLE ON THE SLED TURNS PULLING THE CHAIN, MAKING THE BOX MOVE, I THINK THAT THIS IS THE SIMPLEST WAY TO MAKE ONE, I HAVE SEEN THEM MADE AND YOU CAN USUALLY FIND THE STUFF LAYING IN A JUNK PILE.

A big thanks to all that replied to my question about building the pulling sled for children's pedal Tractors. The one Phone # someone said to call, is not a good number any longer. If anyone might know that guy's new number, I will still try to reach him.
Thanks again.
