I got a email from you, I think it was you,,,, tried replying, but got return to sender. I was messing around with lash adjustments one day, on a farmall H, trying to see where I could get peak cyl pressure. If a camshaft grind, is dead on, the peak cyl pressure will be at the book, or spec sheet for that cam, make or model on the lash adjustments. If the adjustment gets tighter, and the pressure goes up, or HP goes up on the dyno, it could mean that you could use a slightly bigger cam. Possibly more lift, duration,,, when the lash is tight, the valve is open longer, and faster than a looser lash setting. If the cyl pressure increases when you loosen the lash up, it can mean alot of things, like too big of cam for the engine combo, compression ratio too low for the larger grind. So other options may be needed to get the cyl pressure higher to produce more power. Milling the head, stroker cranks, etc etc. Then try the adjustment again to see which way the lash goes to get the most out of what you have. But, if its a stroker motor, it can be a different ball game to set up,,, so more info would be needed to know more. Chad
