I have an E Gleaner combine motor I want to put in my WC Allis. Never done it before. Any pitfalls to be aware of? THANKS for any advise.

I have one in my WD that i run 38" tires with - It pulls real well. First off you gotta make a plate for the mechanical fuel pump because it wont fit between the frame. You need another front housing to run your throttle linkage. And then the end of the crank shaft is quite a bit longer so you have to machine out the front pully damper to get it to slide all the way on the crank. I also cant hook up a choke because the carb is different. But otherwise i took a 40 some year old motor and put it in a tractor and made it pull like no tommorow! Have fun with it cuz its cheap H.P.

yea one, listening to everyone talk about you cheating if you pull Farm Stock...LOL!!!! Course now I have been thinking about it all. Oliver used some 318 Chryslers in their combines and I pull an 88, can I use a combine motor too?? LMAO!!!

They make good power, got a guy here who has one in a WD and he does really well with it.
