this is my first year in pulling and I'm running with 15x5.38 with about a half inch of tread on firestone 46 degree angle the old pattern all the tractor wants to do is spin out really never hooking up to the track.I have tried different wieghting front and back.Do I need different tires, are more time to learn how to pull. This is driving me crazy because I'm only lacking the placings by a few feet each time.

As you will find with time, it will take more than just tires to be a winner. It also takes hitch height and length, air pressure, weight ratio, and consistent power. The one thing you need is to make the best puller for the tracks you pull on. Before anyone helps you out, it would be greatly appreciated if you would tell us the type of track you pull on, and how heavy the sled is.
