How can you beef up a stock clutch to handle more horsepower? (running a 466 at 3500 rpms)

You are getting a little high on RPM's for stock parts. I tried running my gas 4010 with double spring pockets machined into the pressure plate. It made about 2 hooks, and I finally bought a 3 disk aftermarket clutch (all SFI Steel and alum parts). It seems that the stock parts give up in 6th gear or higher with any kind of RPM's. The stock pressure plate only uses a small portion of the clutch surface, with a few springs.
