Is using a truck head from the 220-308 engines really benefical. I"ve heard both good and bad things about them. Also, is there a diffrence in the heads from the 220-308, or are they all the same. I"m really intrested in using one on the 301...?

The truck heads that you want are on the BD220, BD240, BD264, BG221, BG241, and BG265. The BD308 is actually a Blue Diamond series engine [originally known as a BLD, as in the BLD269], and is a totally different design and dimension from the 220-221-240-241-264-265.

As far as how beneficial they might be on your 301, ask ChadS...he's been playing with this for some time.
