Fellow Pullers:

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH is Clintonia Antique Farm Power Club's fun Fall follow-up to the Michigan Shootout, THE 50/50 GRUDGE MATCH South of Fowler, MI on Wright Rd. at the conservation club. This pull was scheduled for all you folks that had a good time with us this summer to come back, relax, bring some buddies, and pull under the lights once again. This pull will be a little different than our Michigan Shootout. There will not be a regular CAFPC pull that day but we will pull 3500-6500# using our Superstock rules at 5.0 mph with a $15 hook fee. NATPA Div. 3&4 will all be legal as long as you can run 19" hitch height. The pull should start at 5:00 but feel free to show up at 3:00 to "test & tune" for $5/hook.

Hope to see ya!

We do not get enough 2500# tractors that can hang at 5mph for a jackpot class. I wish there were more 2750# around.

The only tractors I see hanging in there at 5mph are a few 2750# machines. I agree if you make it, they will come. We always run 2.5, 3, 4, & 5mph 2500# classes at all of our CAFPC pulls. It's hit or miss how many show up. I thought about 2750#, but Harvey Noon, Liz Trowbridge, and sometimes Darrin Garms are the only ones in our area I know of over with Flat River. Something to look at. Thanks.

Three doesn't make much of a jackpot class. Nothing wrong with them, just wish we could drag in more.

Most clubs have the least amount of complants in the 2500# class. There are alot more tractors that can compete at 2500 than 2750#.

Ok, I see. I like that brown B.F. Avery that came to Eagle. I wish we could have a consistent group of 2500# show up. Hubbardston had a ton of them. The Ringle's bunch is fun to watch. 2500# was how I got in to pulling if anyone remembers the old Deere H I dragged out to Sunfield years ago. Too bad it didn't have Allis horsepower. Julius Teis' Allis shows em a thing or two. I see Gary Schrauben has his 60 going. Can most of them run 5mph?

This discussion has switched back and forth so much that the classes have changed.I do not know how anyone knows what is going to pull , especially if thy donot have a computer.
