Get a few for HPs and put a creeper gear in it, that will turn some heads.

If your bore is in really good shape the best way to go is lenthen your connecting rods to raise the compression, save money on boring the block, and on the piston purchase!

No offense to JD B, but a 2 cylinder is just not worth putting money into. You could spend a lot of money on a 2 cylinder engine and only get half of the horsepower you can get out of a 4 cylinder engine.

It would be a pretty boring world if everyone just ran "Chevys". Unfortunately it takes knowlege AND money to win with a JD. Some just choose the "money" route and therefore must pull the "other" makes.

Dalton

Yeah, but they don't sound as good doing it. Here in W. TX & E. NM the JD's are hard to beat at a pull. Stock or modified.

I disagree I have an A John Deere that has 58 HP that will beat a 80hp M Farmall or an Oliver 9 out of 10 times. 6000#,6500#7000# 4 or 5 mile hr classes. Its not how fast you go but how far.

I'm not out to win just be competative. Around here the A's and G's are about the best in the heavy classes, the b's do pretty well to in the light classes. I pull a oliver 88 diesel in the 7 and 7500 just want something different.

That must be why there aren't any JD's out there... Division IV/V, yep I'd agree with you. Division II/III. Bring it.
