I have one and it would always slip. I drilled 3 holes through it put in bolts and ground the nuts and bolts down so that they would clear. Works fine now. I was too lasy to pull it all out and replace the parts.

I pull a Super H with a M & W hand clutch.
I tighten the big nut as tight as I can with a punch and big hammer just before every pull;
but, it will slip if the pull is over 250-300'. You can forget about a second pull that day.

They will not hold up for heavy pulling

Just kinda wondering what the advantage would be unless someone had a physical disability which made a foot clutch unfeasable. I could be wrong on this one but I didn't think the old M&W hand clutch was the most reliable thing on the planet.
