I was just curious how much stroke you can get out of a moline. I know 6inches is stock on alot of them. I was just wondering how far you can take it and what's the longest that people have seen or know of someone doing???

Ok yes it did have piston problems at first. top ring to close to top. but the question was about stroke wasnt it?he has had no problems with crank or bearings. it makes good power and real good torque on lp gas.

Makes massive low end torque!! Where the others are hot rodding em, he just lets it idle and walks it down the track. Other molines have him by 20 hp or more, but he still drives it well and is very competitive. Yep, question was about the stroke,, dont think its ever had crank trouble a day in its life. They kept going bigger and bigger, till they could go no more. The G MM that pulls up there does extremely well for a small engine puller. Id hate to see him upgrade!! Nobody would have a chance!!

"3 or 4 years with no problems."

Thats the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

I know of a few 8" MM without problems but not that UB.

its the on Im thinking of, it had more piston troubles more than anything. Pistons did not have much of a skirt, and kept falling sideways in the bores under a load. But, it seemed to be ok now last time I seen it run. Might not be the UB Im thinking though,,,,
