I have heard of aluminum framerails for the M. Are there any available for the H. How can you get the frontend lightned up with that big cast iron front end. Also If any one can refresh my memory as to who makes the full replacement aluminum top cover. And very lastly what radiator fits this unit that would be a lot lighter.
I dont think there is much else I am missing for the Jenny crank diet plan.
Thanks Brandon

Im having a few parts built for my H out of aluminum,,, rear engine plate, engine mounts, and the timing plate, that the timing cover housing alighns with. Ive asked them if they can do rails, they said,, if we knew what you needed, they probably could! The rear rail mount would be the hardest,, then adapt the actual rail to it. The ones I have seen for the M, are welded. With a weight bracket, nobody knew the difference,, at the time,,,, Id say with the front cut out,, and an aluminum tranny top plate, you would lose more weight and have less money in it. Ive got my cast upper bolster as light as 68lbs. Cut and cut with a cutting disk on an angle grinder till I had alot less material. Id like to see an aluminum timing cover set, aluminum water pump housing, modified to flow alot more coolant. Other option if you can,, is to build a whole bolster from scratch.... the wirght bar can hide most of the not stock look,,, and custom steering is not hard to do,,, I built one for my old 460,, never got to put it on,, but with the pedistal, front tires, hubs, and the bolster, was like 70 lbs total. I was thinking on how to adapt a hyd steering cyl to operate it,, or if a wide front is used a rack n pinion setup. Chad
