puting an A pump on a g1000

need to know how many deegres befor top dead center to time an A pump to a 504d this pump was never put on this tractor from the factory so its
just guess work so if any one is running this set up i would sure like some help!

This is strictly a guess but an educated one nevertheless, Case engines which are similar in design would be timed at 28-30 degrees BTDC, that is with a PES pump with no internal advance, that will definately get you running, that figure is based on about a 2000 RPM engine High Idle. I would get it up and running and fine tune with a dyno, lets hear from others, there are probably some who have already gone down this road.
