Was wondering if anyone out there new of some place that could beef up an Oliver power booster. running an open rpm class, know the IH guys build those torque amplifiers up was wondring about the same or if i should just take it off. any info would be appreciated

yeah, in the stock class it works great, key is not to shift to late, thats when they tend to over rev and blow thru the tires. can you give me more info on those overdrive units? never heard of this thanks

Do you seriously pull better with a power booster? I've pulled my 770 for over 10 years and never lost to a 770, or 880 with a power booster. It always seems that in the instant of shifting, they would always loose traction. Anyways, I believe Brad from Maibach tractor in Ohio used to sell a heavier sprag for the units. maybe worth calling???

Thought the trick there was to install the Gear Vendor overdive unit. Works great in Div. 4 and 5 tractors,should be even better in open rpm class.
