JD 730 Diesel timing marks

Rebuilding my JD 730 for the third time and now have a problem haven't had before. The JD 730 Diesel tractor is vibrating badly. Have referenced every book I can find on the subject, including reading all posts to this message board.

Where does the wedge line up with the crankshaft? Do you need to time the right side? An old guy told me to time the right side but can't find any marks.
Any help is appreciated.

Yes, both sides need to to be timed.The #2 mark is 180 degrees from the #1 mark.
