My 860 starts fine, and runs well at low throttle. But when the throttle is turned up, or the engine put under any strain, like moving, the engine cuts out. I replaced the fuel filter and rebuilt the carb with a kit. Don't know where to go from here, any suggestions?

Fire order correct?

Good blue spark?

Good compresion?

Plenty of fuel in the carb bowl if you check the drain?

Main needle rich enough and not clogged?

Stumbling or hesitation when you goose the throttle is a sign of a plugged main needle/jet, or too lean a setting.. or a fuel obstruction. Old's got it right.

Does chokeing it help any?? If it does then you missed some junk in the carb which is easy to do.
