Are you sure it has spark?? And if it has spark is it a nice brite blue spark or is it sort of a weak yellow spark?? Also have you pulled the plugs back out to see it they are wet?? If they are then they have fuel fouled on you and you need to clean/dry them

I have a good blue spark on the secondary side of the coil and I have spark at all the spark plugs. The point gap is set at .025 thousandths.it still won"t crank up.

Hers some thing to try, pull the air intake tube off the carb and hold your hand over the air intake and crank the engine. It should suck on your hand, if it doesn't you may have a problem with low compression and if you have that problem put about a table spoon of oil in each cylinder and try to start it again.

Hey, Old, neat essay on your farm and operations. And the thing about a horse's feelings, is great, too. My Mother's folks had a farm near Evans city, PA., north of Pittsburgh, PA., back when i was a young feller. I'd go there in the summer, until i left for the Army. What wonderful days and weeks! but, it wasn't all play-no, i had to work, too! I learned a lot-about horses, cows, all kinds of animals. And, about life and death, too. Best day every summer was when the"thrashers" came! And, Grandma, my mother, and her sisters would lay out a spread of food and desserts big enough to feed half the county! and, we did away with most of it! My uncle Vern would entertain us kids with a story about a big white ghost of an old horse that ran across the ridge south of the farm, mostly in the moon-light! We set out many a night in summer, watching for that horse to show, but we never saw it! My younger brother had the chore of bringing in the cows from pasture, in the late afternoon! His favorite trick was to grab a cowtail, and get pulled back to the barn. One day, Old Bossy got riled up, took off at high speed, and brother's feet hit the ground every 5-6 feet or so! And after being dragged a long way on his knees, i think he got the message! He never did that again!
