Remove the 4 bolts around the pto output. Pull the shaft and freshly unbolted housing out. Remove the snap ring from the inside of the pto bearing. Tip the shaft on end and hit it on the floor - the pto retainer will fall off. Remove inner snap ring. Knock the old seal out of the pto housing. Push a new seal in. Put inner snap ring back in. Put shaft and bearing back into housing. Put shaft back in tractor with new gasket if you want it to be leak free. Shaft has to line up with the splines inside. Reinstall bolts. Done. Good Job!
