Hope someone can help , have a good running 1720 and want to use the hydraulic accessory port area to hook up to a hydraluic cylinder for making a log splitter, bought a prince valve and hooked every thing up but cylinder only goes one way out or if i reverse the hoses back in will not retract am i only to hook up two lines inlet, outlet or do I need to hook in another line like a return, should I have a sperate holding tank for fluid, apperiacte any advise

Start over and give us all the details.. like .. is this a DA cyl.. or SA.. etc. Are you using the hyd port ont he right lower side of the tractor for pressure? .. etc.
