Cub cadet help

I just got a used cub cadet series 2000 model 2140 tractor and it rolled off the truck I started it and now it will not move running or turned off,It will move back and forth about 3 inches and that is all. All the linkage seems to be working don't know if brake could be stuck or not. It just locked up I would really appricate any help please email me with sug.

2140, is that a gear drive or a hydrostatic? If it is a hydrostatic, in the back there is a rod you can pull to disengage the transmission so you can roll it. If it is a gear drive, check to make sure all is in neutral. The brake isn't locked on is it? Check to make sure nothing is broken on the rear end housing.

It is a hydrostat the 2145 has the disengage rod but the 2140 does not that is what it acts like though my fried has on like that.

If yours doesn't have the disconnect rod, then it is one of them "6 speed" things w/the shifter on the right side, but still basically a hydro? How hard did it fall? I really can't seem to think of much w/out seeing unfortunately, and even then, ain't sure if I would see anything. I don't guess a spring or something popped off, not sure, call your nearest dealer and see what they say.
