I need a little insight...my tractors hydraulic system got some water in it...no problem says I , I'll just drain it ,new filter ,walla fixed, right?? not so easy , as I am finding out ....15 gal.new oil , new filter , and I still have milk shake for hyd fluid....what is the proper way to purge this gunk out of the tranny/rearend ??? I am hoping to do this without spending a fourtune on Hyd. fluid ( 30+ $ 5 gal. need 17 gal>20 gal ). Is there some other cheaper oil I can flush the system with ? oh...and yes I know how the water got in.....er ahhh operator error and a creek ...I'll leave it at that to protect the innocent...er dumb....you know. The tractor is a 730 series case, no TA or caseomatic, thank goodness...those monsters call for 30 gallons of oil....that would be right spendy to drain a few times...Thanks in advance, Shawn

Some tractors have more than one drain plug, even with one filler. Part of a gearcase may not drain into the lower part, thus the two plugs.
