ford2000 milky hyd?

I have a ford 2000, the hyd fliud is milky and they will only raise about 1/2 way up? any help?

Dont run it to long, water raises hell with bearings.

It sounds like you"ve got some water in your hydraulic system It sometimes comes in thru the shift boots You"ll have to drain and refill and then either replace or keep the boots covered.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure you will )but isn't the hydraulic sump in the rear end and this is seperate from the trany compartment? either way you gotta drain the rear end and fill it with good fluid..
