Interstate Battery in Santa Rosa. Stay away
from Napa batteries, they are no good.

Oh, I purchased my Optima 6V online, I think through an ebay merchant. Any Optima Dealer can get one though if they don"t stock it. Pepboys auto parts carries Optima here locally, but they"d have to order the 6V.

I"m just finishing up the restoration of a Ford tractor. I"ve purchased 6V batteries at Napa, but conventional lead acid batteries will form corrosion at the terminals and will eventually fail. In my cars and trucks I have switched over to all Optima batteries as the original have failed. Optima"s are great in that they are not lead acid, the terminals never form corrosion, they last way longer than conventional batteries, can take more abuse and punishment, can take running down and recharging better. So I just purchased their 6V model for my tractor. I had to make custom hold down bracket for it, but I did it really well and it looks factory. Consider the optima. It may cost more initially, buy I"ve found that is has been worth it in performance and convenience.

You got NAPA out there?
Might have to order, but any auto parts chain or battery retailer should be able to supply one.
