Has anyone figured a way to remove the moveable rails from a 350U seat? Seems like the moveable section should come out. I want to sandblast the seat frame, but want to take the moveable part out, so I don't have to worry about sand getting in the ball slides. Thanks in advance.

superdave, its a PITA. I took mine apart to clean and relube it. Seems i just took a punch and flattened the spot they punched up to hold the thing together. It's ben a while. Its not somthing u would do for a restoration, as its kinda a hit or miss reassembling them, I spent about 15 minutes trying to get it where the balls wouldnt come out, haha
