I"m a greenhorn tractor owner so bear with me :) I have a squeal in my hydraulics when operating the loader and bucket, it has a fill cap that indicates the reservoir is part of the loader frame but I can not locate the level indicator. Is it part of the fill cap? Thanks for any help!

Usually when you get a squeal like that , the pump is being starved of oil and is running dry.Check the oil level (call the dealer if neccesary) and change the hydraulic filters.

It would help a lot to know #1 what tractor you have. #2 what brand of loader you have. #3 does it run off a front mount pump or from tractor hyds. Now with that all said most loader if they use the frame as the tank do not have a dip stick or place to tell you when its full. You just fill it so its full to the fill plug and go. Some do have a vent and a fill plug if yours does then fill it till its full at the fill plug and then you have it right
