Hi!
I have an air compressor, and two rusty mowers which need a decent sandblasting. Mostly it would be intermittent work, so renting one or hiring someone would be inconvenient. How much would a sandblaster cost (roughly) any idea appreciated!

I bought a pressurized sandblaster from Harbor Freight for $80.00 hood and nozzles included.

I bought just a cheap one from MSC Supply for something like $100 to $150. I see Northern has the same unit for $130. My compressor had trouble keeping up until I threw away the ceramic tips I got with it, and purchased a carbide 3/32 diameter carbide tip. I use 20/30 silica (pretty fine) to keep from plugging up. Now I have no problem keeping up. The only problem I have, which I've taken steps to remedy is moisture in the system. I have sandblasted 3 tractors with it, plus other items, and am quite satisfied with it.
