How do you turn in the rear wheels on a JD 50, so I can fit it on my trailer.
Don't know if it is just stuck or rusted to the axle.

Wow you have a BIG job on your hands to move those wheels, unless they have been moved recently. They are very likely stuck. Search the archives. This has been on here a lot before and it"s too much to type and try to explain without the manual. Different people have posted different ways to break the wedges loose. Once they are loose they move easily following the written procedure in the manual.

Are you aware of Don Ward, a fellow MO guy? He farms near Chula (Chillicothe area) and is a super knowledgeable fellow on the John Deere 2 cylinder tractors. Always willing to help. I've visited with him several times by phone and at 2 Cylinder Expos.

No, I have not heard of him. Would you happen to know if he has an email address, so I could reach him.

Last I knew he didn't have email. I asked him about it one time and he said he never got interested in computers and now is too old to think about that. (He's about 75) But he lists his phone number in 2 Cyl magazine and says call anywhere between 7 AM and 10 PM. Do you have friends or neighbors who have a 2 Cyl mag you could look at to get his phone #?

I don't think I do, but I will ask my dad. He farms in TN, he might have one, but not really sure.
