Hi,
My crankcase breather in my 1943 Farmall H that goes in the push rod chamber on the side of the engine block was pretty bad and real dirty. I've been told new ones were no longer available so I put in a couple of wire mesh lint traps used in washing machines. Paid 2 bucks for them, good deal worked perfect!!!!! !!!

Hi Andy, Could you explain the material that you used, is it plastic mesh or somrthing else?
Is it like a scotch brite pad? My son is building an H and I'm a little foggy here on this part right now, Thanks, Doug

Doug, They are not common is this material, it is a wire mesh type filter. I could get you the mesh breather (lint trap) if you like. $3.00 plus s&h. Email me on the Send Email link if you are interested. Andy.
